Coming up on TFR for Friday, 4/3/09

Things should be back to normal (and I use that word loosely) around here! "Campaign Central" reverts back to KUHF's fully-functioning Geary Performance Studio, and to celebrate, we have a live performance by the White Oak Trio. Then, we meet one of our nation's foremost composers of vocal music, Ricky Ian Gordon [pictured left], whose operatic adaptation of The Grapes of Wrath will be presented by the Moores Opera Center.

Fun Fact #1: During Campaign, TFR sacrifices its beloved Geary Performance Studio (a.k.a. Studio 3-C) for the Cause. The Studio becomes Campaign Central -- a hub of snack foods, numbers-crunching and volunteers answering phones.

Trivia Question: How many Kolaches do our volunteers eat during Campaign?

Word of the Day: "Handelian" (Thanks to HGO General Director Anthony Freud!)
